I was
born in
Turin, Italy. I currently live and work in
Bristol, UK. I am interested in ICT,
Internet technologies and Computer Science topics.
I
received two degrees respectively in Computer Science
and IT/Information Management (1991, 2005) and a MSc
degree on Computer Science from the
University of Turin,
Italy. I worked for a company owned by Telecom Italia as
a senior system and software architect before joining
HP in 1996.
I am a
senior researcher and technical contributor at
HP Labs, Bristol -
Systems Security Laboratory.
I have
worked as a technical contributor in a variety of
research and development programs including
collaborations with HP business units and in the context
of EU collaborative projects, including
EU
PRIME project (Privacy and Identity Management for
Europe). I am currently involved in the
UK TSB EnCoRe
Project.
My
research interests are related to security, privacy and
trust, adaptive systems, next-generation enterprise
middleware, web services and web technologies. My work
includes research and development of secure and trusted
technologies, systems and solutions for people,
enterprises and the Internet.
My
current research focus is on security analytics,
identity analytics, IT risk management, identity
management and privacy management. I am also very
interested in researching the impact and implications of
Web 2.0 in Enterprise contexts and contributing in this

I am
active on the publication and conference front. I have
more than 40 patents filed (80 considering filing in
multiple countries) and 11 patents granted.
