  I am a senior research scientist at the Hewlett Packard Laboratories in Bristol, UK - Systems Security Lab (SSL).

My  R&D interests are in the following areas:  

  • Automation of Security Lifecycle Management
  • Security and Identity Analytics
  • Identity Management Technologies and Solutions
  • Risk Management, IT & Data Governance and Compliance
  • Trust, Security and Privacy Technologies  for People, Enterprises and Internet-based environments

  • Adaptive Systems & Automation
  • Policy Management

I am a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of The Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP).

I  currently run a blog on "Research on Identity Management" to share ideas and opinions on the future of R&D identity management.

I am also co-chairing the W3C Policy Languages Interest Group (PLING).
